Acquainting your pet with the automatic food dispenser:
To get easily frightened pets to accept the food dispenser, place a few treats in the bowl and allow your pet to eat from the dispenser without activating it. Thus, your pet will learn to associate the dispenser with positive experiences.

Before using the Automatic Food Dispenser:

1. Open the battery compartment at the bottom and insert four AA batteries
2. Set the main switch next to the battery compartment to ON and place the dispenser on a flat surface indoors. The display will light up.
3. Open the cover at the top by pressing the two small handles together. Then lift off the top.
4. Now fill bowls 1 through 4 with food, depending on the number of the meals you want to be released. Take care not to fill the bowls higher than their rims. If your pet is to receive one meal immediately after preparing the dispenser, you can also fill bowl
5. This bowl will be immediately accessible to the pet after the dispenser is wound up.
6. Place the cover back on the top.
7. Now rotate the cover anticlockwise as far as it will go to wind up the internal spring mechanism.

Programming the dispenser:

1. With the buttons Hr (sets the hours from 0 – 23) and Min (sets the minutes from 0 – 59) you can now choose the time when the automatic feed dispenser releases a bowl.
2. If you press nothing more, the automatic feed dispenser will save the time you have set after 5 seconds.
3. If you press the button H/S, a manual feed is released. This does not impact the set feeding interval.
4. Please note that this food dispenser does not possess any cooling mechanism. Therefore, only fill the dispenser with feed that will not go bad at room temperature until the time your pet eats it.
5. After winding up the dispenser press the RST button so that the dispenser restarts the previously set feeding interval.

Cleaning:

1. To clean the dispenser, first remove the top as described above.
2. Now you can turn the turn disc with the bowls anticlockwise and remove the bowls to clean them, either by hand or in the dish washer.
3. The dispenser itself can be wiped down with a wet towel.
4. When placing the bowls back in the dispenser, ensure that the arrow markings on the turn disc and the dispenser line up. Then close the top as described above.

Please remove batteries and dispose of them properly.
